The mediaBOX Media Players are powerful all-in-one Digital Signage and Kiosk computers. Designed with a minimum footprint these players ship with a built in vesa mount that is mounted directly on the case.  Mounting the mediaBOX players behind an LCD (32" - 60") screen is quick and simple.  In fact our mediaBOX family of Media Players measure at a mere 192 x 210 x 62mm or 7.5 x 8 x2.4" inches.
This means you can easily hide the mediaBOX Media Players in cabinets, shelves and other small enclosures.

The mediaBOX Media Player can fit behind most wall mounts. It can also be used with the Ergotron™ wall mounts. The mediaBOX will mount behind or next to the Ergotron wall mounts. You can completely hide the mediaBOX Player for an easy professional installation.

The mediaBOX is packed with peripherals including HDMI, DVI and VGA. This means that it can drive (2) monitors from a single Player. The optical sound delivers the highest quality audio possible. The mediaBOX was designed to run super quiet and extremely cool. The complete open metal case design allows for ultimate air flow and self cooling mechanism which eliminates the need for extra loud fans. The mediaBOX also has a number of mounting options including back of monitor screw mounts, front and back rail mounts, side mount brackets and even a built in picture style mounting holes directly on the back of the case.

The mediaBOX is set to auto restart after power outages and will always reconnect to your network via a fast built in Wifi connection or 10/100/1000 Ethernet connection. Powered by a patented 150W fanless power supply, the mediaBOX is the ultimate Media Player.

The Media Player were developed in response to a critical and growing demand for a reliable, inexpensive solution for the MediaSignage SignagePlayer software. The requirement was to deliver a high end Media Player without dramatically increasing the size, cost or management complexity of such a device.

SignagePlayer optimized

Our Media Player are powered by a special version of the SignagePlayer Desktop version. The SignagePlayer Desktop is specifically designed around our hardware configuration for better memory management and improved disk caching. 
The SignagePlayer also directly integrates with Windows XP embedded operating system.

Ubuntu Linux powered

Each of our Media Player can be pre loaded with Linux Ubuntu 9.04.
Linux is historically known as being very stable and highly flexible.
Our mediaBOX Players were compiled with a very light weight window manager called black box.

The OS is also modulated to support all of the devices which may be optionally included with our mediaBOX Media Players including USB OS restore system, capture card support and more.

Ubuntu was designed for peripheral integration such as Digital Signage and Kiosks. The OS is stripped down of all the unnecessary overhead that is normally included with Ubuntu OS. The OS is ultra light, fast and very reliable.

Each of our Media Player is can be pre loaded with Windows XP embedded
(also known as XPe or WES). XPe was designed for peripheral integration such as Digital Signage and Kiosks. The OS is stripped down of all the unnecessary overhead that is normally included with Windows XP. The OS is ultra light, fast and very reliable.

Some of the advantages include:

• Removal of all OS messages and balloons
• Optimized for Kiosk support with removal of standard Taskbar
• Disable of the Adobe AIR auto update features
• Remove all unneeded services and startup tasks
• Smallest foot print of about 65MB for the complete OS
• Compiled with special XPe modules for specific support of Adobe AIR
• Fully customizable for white labeling with background & boot logos
